Maja cups

A series of three diffent sized cups that will fit inside each other perfectly. The simple cup shape gives a possibility to experiment with surface designs from glazes to more playful patterns. Classical oxblood and celadon glazed cups in their different color variations depending on the firing process and metal oxides as a source of color for the surface patterns are the signature of these comforting Japan inspired cups. The name in Finnish means a small hut and pronounced in Japanese means Matcha. Both could be symbols for a small getaway from the stress of everyday life's rush.
